नई दिल्ली, 31 दिसंबर 2025: केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) ने 2025-26 शैक्षणिक सत्र की कक्षा 10वीं एवं 12वीं की बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण संशोधन की घोषणा की है। बोर्ड के परीक्षा नियंत्रक डॉ. संयम भारद्वाज द्वारा 29 दिसंबर 2025 को जारी परिपत्र में स्पष्ट किया गया है कि प्रशासनिक कारणों से 3 मार्च 2026 को निर्धारित कुछ विषयों की परीक्षाएं स्थगित कर दी गई हैं। यह परिवर्तन केवल उक्त तिथि के विषयों पर लागू होता है, जबकि शेष सभी परीक्षा तिथियां यथावत् रहेंगी। यह संशोधन लाखों विद्यार्थियों की तैयारी को प्रभावित कर सकता है, किंतु बोर्ड ने यह सुनिश्चित किया है कि विद्यार्थियों को अतिरिक्त समय मिले जिससे वे बेहतर तैयारी कर सकें।
सीबीएसई बोर्ड परीक्षाएं 17 फरवरी 2026 से प्रारंभ होने वाली हैं। कक्षा 10वीं की परीक्षाएं अब 11 मार्च 2026 तक तथा कक्षा 12वीं की परीक्षाएं 10 अप्रैल 2026 तक चलेंगी। मूल तिथि-पत्रक 30 अक्टूबर 2025 को जारी किया गया था, जिसमें प्रमुख विषयों जैसे गणित, विज्ञान, सामाजिक विज्ञान एवं भाषाओं की तिथियां निर्धारित की गई थीं। इस संशोधन के बाद, प्रभावित विषयों के विद्यार्थियों को अपनी अध्ययन योजना में आवश्यक समायोजन करने की आवश्यकता होगी।
पुनर्निर्धारित तिथियां एवं प्रभावित विषय
परिपत्र के अनुसार, निम्नलिखित परिवर्तन किए गए हैं:
- कक्षा 10वीं: 3 मार्च 2026 को निर्धारित क्षेत्रीय एवं विदेशी भाषाओं तथा कुछ वैकल्पिक विषयों (जैसे तिब्बती, जर्मन, राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर, बोडो, तंगखुल, भोटी, जापानी, भूटिया, स्पेनिश, कश्मीरी, मिजो, बहासा मलयू एवं बही-खाता एवं लेखांकन के तत्व आदि) की परीक्षा अब 11 मार्च 2026 को आयोजित की जाएगी। यह परिवर्तन उन विद्यार्थियों को प्रभावित करेगा जो इन विषयों का चयन किए हुए हैं। प्रमुख विषय जैसे हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, गणित, विज्ञान एवं सामाजिक विज्ञान की तिथियां अपरिवर्तित हैं।
- कक्षा 12वीं: 3 मार्च 2026 को निर्धारित विधि अध्ययन (Legal Studies) विषय की परीक्षा अब 10 अप्रैल 2026 को होगी। यह एकमात्र प्रभावित विषय है, तथा अन्य सभी विषयों की तिथियां पूर्ववत् रहेंगी।
बोर्ड ने स्पष्ट किया है कि प्रवेश पत्रों में संशोधित तिथियां अंकित की जाएंगी, तथा विद्यालयों को अपने आंतरिक तिथि-पत्रकों में आवश्यक संशोधन करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। यह परिवर्तन प्रशासनिक कारणों से किया गया है, जिसकी विस्तृत जानकारी बोर्ड द्वारा सार्वजनिक नहीं की गई है।
परीक्षा कार्यक्रम का अवलोकन
सीबीएसई बोर्ड परीक्षाएं पारंपरिक ऑफलाइन मोड में आयोजित की जाएंगी। परीक्षा समय प्रातः 10:30 बजे से अपराह्न 1:30 बजे तक रहेगा (कुछ विषयों में 12:30 बजे तक)। व्यावहारिक परीक्षाएं सामान्य विद्यालयों के लिए 1 जनवरी 2026 से प्रारंभ होंगी, जबकि शीतकालीन क्षेत्रों के विद्यालयों में ये 6 नवंबर से 6 दिसंबर 2025 के मध्य पूर्ण हो चुकी हैं।
यह संशोधन विद्यार्थियों को अतिरिक्त तैयारी का अवसर प्रदान करता है। विशेष रूप से कक्षा 12वीं के विधि अध्ययन के विद्यार्थियों को एक माह से अधिक का समय मिलेगा, जो उच्च शिक्षा प्रवेश परीक्षाओं की तैयारी में सहायक सिद्ध हो सकता है।
विद्यार्थियों एवं अभिभावकों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण सलाह
यह परिवर्तन अप्रत्याशित होने के बावजूद, विद्यार्थियों को घबराने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। बोर्ड ने सभी संबद्ध विद्यालयों को निर्देश दिया है कि वे इस संशोधन की जानकारी शीघ्रातिशीघ्र सभी विद्यार्थियों एवं अभिभावकों तक पहुंचाएं। विद्यार्थियों से अनुरोध है कि वे निम्नलिखित बिंदुओं पर ध्यान दें:
- तिथि-पत्रक की जांच: आधिकारिक वेबसाइट cbse.gov.in पर नवीनतम तिथि-पत्रक डाउनलोड करें तथा प्रभावित विषयों की पुष्टि करें।
- अध्ययन योजना का समायोजन: प्रभावित विषयों के लिए अतिरिक्त समय का उपयोग संशोधन एवं अभ्यास के लिए करें। प्रमुख विषयों की तैयारी निरंतर रखें।
- नमूना प्रश्न-पत्र एवं पूर्व वर्ष पत्र: सीबीएसई की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध नमूना पत्रों का अभ्यास करें, जो परीक्षा पैटर्न को समझने में सहायक होंगे।
- स्वास्थ्य एवं मानसिक तैयारी: परीक्षा तनाव से बचने के लिए नियमित व्यायाम, संतुलित आहार एवं पर्याप्त नींद लें।
- प्रवेश पत्र: फरवरी 2026 में जारी होने वाले प्रवेश पत्रों में संशोधित तिथियां अंकित होंगी, अतः उन्हें ध्यानपूर्वक जांचें।
अभिभावकों से अपेक्षा है कि वे अपने बच्चों का मनोबल बनाए रखें तथा आवश्यक मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करें। विद्यालय प्रधानाचार्य एवं शिक्षक इस संक्रमण काल में विद्यार्थियों की सहायता के लिए उपलब्ध रहेंगे।
CBSE Board Examinations 2026: Rescheduling of Select Subjects and Latest Updates with Guidance for Affected Students
New Delhi, December 31, 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a significant notification regarding the board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 in the 2025-26 academic session. In a circular dated December 29, 2025, signed by Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, the board announced the postponement of examinations scheduled for March 3, 2026, due to administrative reasons. This adjustment applies solely to the papers on that specific date, with all other examination dates remaining unchanged. The decision impacts a limited number of subjects, providing affected students with additional preparation time while ensuring minimal disruption to the overall schedule.
The CBSE board examinations are set to commence on February 17, 2026. For Class 10, the exams will now extend until March 11, 2026, and for Class 12, until April 10, 2026. The original date sheet was released on October 30, 2025, outlining dates for core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and languages. This revision allows students to refine their study plans accordingly.
Rescheduled Dates and Affected Subjects
According to the official circular, the following changes have been implemented:
- Class 10: Examinations originally scheduled for March 3, 2026, including regional and foreign languages as well as certain elective subjects (such as Tibetan, German, National Cadet Corps, Bhoti, Bodo, Tangkhul, Japanese, Bhutia, Spanish, Kashmiri, Mizo, Bahasa Melayu, Elements of Business, and Elements of Book-Keeping and Accountancy), will now be conducted on March 11, 2026. Core subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science retain their original dates.
- Class 12: The Legal Studies examination, previously set for March 3, 2026, has been rescheduled to April 10, 2026. This is the only affected subject in Class 12, with no changes to other papers.
The board has confirmed that revised dates will be incorporated into the updated date sheets and reflected in admit cards. Schools have been instructed to amend their internal timetables and promptly inform students and parents to prevent any confusion.
Overview of the Examination Schedule
The CBSE examinations will be held in offline mode. Theory papers are typically scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (with some concluding at 12:30 p.m., depending on the subject). Practical examinations for regular schools commenced on January 1, 2026, while those in winter-bound regions were completed between November 6 and December 6, 2025.
This rescheduling offers students additional time for revision, particularly beneficial for Class 12 Legal Studies candidates, who gain over a month to align their preparation with potential higher education entrance examinations.
Important Guidance for Students and Parents
Although unexpected, this change need not cause undue concern. The board has directed all affiliated schools to disseminate the updated information promptly. Students are advised to consider the following points:
