1️⃣ Concept / अवधारणा
English:

A displacement reaction is a reaction in which a more reactive element displaces a less reactive element from its compound.

A double displacement reaction is a reaction in which two compounds exchange their ions to form two new compounds.
हिन्दी:

विस्थापन अभिक्रिया वह अभिक्रिया है जिसमें अधिक क्रियाशील तत्व अपने यौगिक से कम क्रियाशील तत्व को विस्थापित कर देता है।

द्विविस्थापन अभिक्रिया वह अभिक्रिया है जिसमें दो यौगिकों के आयन आपस में स्थान बदलते हैं और दो नए यौगिक बनते हैं।

Example:
Na₂SO₄ + BaCl₂ → BaSO₄↓ + 2NaCl
English Explanation: Sodium sulphate and barium chloride exchange their ions. Barium sulphate is formed as an insoluble white precipitate.

हिन्दी: Sodium sulphate और barium chloride अपने आयनों का आदान-प्रदान करते हैं। इससे insoluble barium sulphate का सफेद अवक्षेप बनता है।

Here Zn displaces Cu because Zn is more reactive than Cu.
यहाँ Zn, Cu से अधिक क्रियाशील होने के कारण Cu को विस्थापित करता है।

In displacement, one element replaces another element.
