Eligibility Criteria
- Education: A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with Statistics as a main subject, or a Bachelor's degree with Mathematics, Economics, Commerce or Computer Science as a main subject and Statistics as a paper in at least one year.
- The result must be declared by 28 October 2026. Candidates with pending results are not eligible.
- Distance or open-university degrees must be recognised by the relevant authority (UGC/AICTE/DEB).
- No experience is required.

Syllabus Highlights
- Paper I: current affairs, international relations, science and technology, environment, Indian and Telangana economy, geography, polity, Telangana culture and history, state policies, reasoning, data interpretation and basic English.
- Paper II: sampling and census, tabulation and graphs, central tendency, dispersion, skewness and kurtosis, probability, distributions (binomial, Poisson, normal), estimation and tests, correlation and regression, time series, index numbers and basics of computers.
