Latest Bihar Assembly Election Update (November 14, 2025 – Afternoon)
Hello! Vote counting is still underway, and trends are changing rapidly. Here’s the most up-to-date picture as of early afternoon (around 2–3 PM IST):
Current Trends (out of 243 seats):
- NDA (National Democratic Alliance): Leading on 190–205+ seats → Heading for a massive landslide victory!
- BJP: 85–95 seats (emerging as the single largest party in many projections)
- JDU (Nitish Kumar): 70–80 seats
- LJP (Ram Vilas – Chirag Paswan): 18–22 seats (excellent performance)
- Others (HAM, etc.): 4–6 seats
- Mahagathbandhan (RJD + Congress + Left): Struggling at 35–50 seats only (very poor show)
- RJD (Tejashwi Yadav): 30–40 seats
- Congress & Left: Very few
- Majority mark: 122 → NDA has crossed it comfortably long ago.
Big Highlights & Upsets:
- Tejashwi Yadav (Raghopur seat): Currently trailing behind BJP candidate by a few thousand votes (very close fight, keeps flipping).
- Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party: Likely to draw a blank or win just 0–1 seat.
- AIMIM (Owaisi): Restricted to 1–2 seats max in Seemanchal.
- Celebrations have already started at BJP and JDU offices in Patna – firecrackers, sweets, drums!
Nitish Kumar is almost certain to become Chief Minister for a record 10th time (including previous terms). Final results expected by evening/night.
